set off on 1st May night and reached back on 4th night.
but in fact we only played for 2 days.
2nd May was at Cameron highland:
visited tea plantation, honey bee farm, strawberry farm, cactus valley and a chinese temple in the morning.
afternoon was free and easy, had steamboat dinner in the evening and night market shopping after that.
was a bit sad, i wanted to visit butterfly farm but my butterfly became bee; i wanted to visit rose farm but my roses became cactus :(
a funny thing that happened outside the chinese temple:
there were roadside stalls selling things and one uncle selling souvenirs, small gifts etc was trying to promote to me.
he: 来小姐过来看看，送一个给你男朋友他一定感动到流泪！
me: (laughs) huh uncle, 我没有男朋友，你先找一个给我再说咯。
he: 那就买一个来骗表哥咯，表哥很容易骗的。
me: (哑口无言)......
by then everybody was already laughing like mad.
teasing me that “原来佩珊沦落到要去骗表哥，LOL!”
wow thanks ah uncle, 我有那么惨吗？！
3rd May morning travelled to Gopeng town:
went to my Gopeng resort which is where we staying and had all our activities for the day.
eh that place reminds me of OBS campsite! everything everywhere is just next to nature!
so of course the living condition isnt that fantastic, we are like paying money to torture ourselves.
haha 我好娇生惯养。
but the activities was really damn FUN and EXCITING!
we sat lorry in and out between the town area and the resort and the ride was EXCITING and slightly dangerous.
we did white water rafting in the afternoon and a waterfall trekking experience!
had BBQ at night.
white water rafting was super duper FUN yet very DANGEROUS!
it was everybody's 1st tme doing white water rafting.
as i cant swim and have water phobia, i was pretty nervous.
when i knew that we have to sit on top of the raft boat and not inside the boat, 我心里想：我死定了！
true enough, the boat i was in (with shang yi, nevin, yun sheng & cheng kun) was the most 'suay' one cuz we experienced so much more than others, but our 'suayness' also made our money more worth i guess. lol.
1st it was yun sheng who fell off the boat (cuz he was 1 of the 2 sitting in front) during the 1st rapid.
then during the 2nd rapid which has 2 in a row, all 5 of us fell off the boat (except for the guide, i wonder how he manage to balance)!
it was damn SCARY!!!
i couldnt even breathe and was sinking even though we had our life jacket on.
cuz 怕死的我 managed to grab on to the boat side rope and held it very tighly (which we were told not to cuz it could made the boat capsize but i couldnt care much at that point of time) so i was the 1st to be saved up.
thanks to that fall, i had a huge bump on my left elbow cuz i hit the rocks when i fell into the water i guess.
at the last rapid, our boat got stucked by rocks and we could not turn to the correct direction to move down the rapid so our guide guided us to use another route which nobody use.
and then, we were stucked right in the middle, halfway through the rapid cuz there was a BIG ROCK below when we moved down.
fast moving water kept rushing into our boat and soon it was fully submerged.
all of us looked at each other with a blank face.
our guide still have the guts to laugh. thanks for guiding us to that route man.
guess what, end up we had to climb out of the boat and slided down to stand beside the big rock IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RAPID!
quite a number of other guides came over to help us.
and we were pulled ACROSS THE RAPID with ropes.
i almost didnt want to do it but i know that was the only way out.
原来我一碰到水，就变成胆小鬼 :p
the waterfall experience was pretty cool, cuz it is slightly dangerous than those i had been to before.
this one we had to climb to the top using ropes.
of cuz the cooling splashing water was worth the scary wet climb.
but i had injuries again!
blur me couldnt see the rocks under the water and 踩空，stepped into a hole in between 2 rocks and now my right ankle is swelling slightly.
i'm really injuries prone, should be glad that i'm back in 1 piece!
4th May whole day was spent on train tarvelling back from Ipoh:
played cards, slept, watched show on itouch, ate tibits, the most fun thing was chatting and gossiping with fellow fivers.
it's really not easy for me have to such chats with them.
but spending 11hours on the train ride is really quite a waste of time :x
nevertheless, it was a good trip.
at least it is a good step towards a new hall activity which is bought in during my term of office.
may the fivers spirit continues!
