couldnt sleep last night.

sorry to freddy, junyi and his girlfriend sharon (she really dont look 7years older than him, hee) cuz i was super late.
met up with them to go PC show at suntec.
but junyi and sharon are sick and didnt look very well.
poor them still have to squeeze with the crowd.
i hope it's not my fault that they've to come!
anyway piggy joined us after 1hour cuz she still have holiday lessons in school.
we just walked around and collect flyers of laptops from different brands.
i cant wait to get my own laptop when school starts!

we had dinner at 店小二.
so rare that 4 of us are all free to have dinner together!
and today's one is a very good and 'peaceful' (no quarrels at all!) one.
very glad that i'm free to have dinner with them.
(just that i'm damn broke now cuz it's my treat and it cost 100bucks! :x)
it's a early celebration for fathers' day as well as farewell for mum cuz she's flying off to beijing for her exchange programme tomorrow.
(just in case anybody dunno, my studious mum is doing part-time masters in chinese studies)
but i've to work so cant send her off :(
anyway, all the best for her trip!
this is her 1st time going overseas on her own, i bet she's nervous, haha.

hmmm the relationship between my mum and i seems to be better these days.
she sort of can understand how i feel, especially on university stuff.
i knew she'll be very happy if i'm going to study chinese.
but 1week ago when i told her that even if i'm going NTU i'll appeal to study maths,
she didnt even object and said she dont think i should study chinese too cuz my foundation is weak.
instead dad was the one who keep nagging me to accept NTU immediately cuz he thinks that no other courses will want me.
kind of grateful that mum actually supports what i like.
and to my surprise,
now she said that if NTU is really too far and if there's the need, i can stay in hostel!
so OMG can!
i never thought that she'll allow!
but wait for more details to be out then decide ba.
thanks mum :)

anyway i feel much better after a night of thinking through.
dont think i'll appeal to anywhere le.
i'm kind of lazy to do such thing.
just stick with NTU chinese ba.
maybe it's all fated.
and i found out that if my result for year1 is very very good,
i can actually do double major in year2!
chinese major together with mass com!
provided that i'm really hardworking enough to produce super good results.
if not i can also do minor in mass com.
so i guess now i've a goal to work towards to?

by the way NUS rejection letter finally came today.
haiz haiz.
but i received NIE acceptance letter!
i'm selected for the bachelor of arts in education programme in which i can teach chinese language in primary school after i graduate from the course.
and i'll be paid $1000 a month for my 1st 2years of studies and school fees will be paid by MOE.
sounds so good right, haha.
but there's bond to sign and i can only be a teacher after i graduate.
NO WAY!
still very happy that i got selected though i'm not interested.
cuz it means i didnt really screw up the interview, haha.
satisfied enough.

now should prepare myself for the new university life!
school starting in august.
shall start reading some chinese stuff, hee.
